CLASSIQUE GALLERY SHOWCASE OF FINE ART

A reception for exhibiting artists, their guests and invited guests will be held Sunday, November 19th from 11 AM
to 4 PM.
ENTRY RULES AND CONDITIONS
Eligibility: Artists must be 18 years of age or older and need not be a resident of Floral
Park or a member of any art league, club or organization.
Work Eligible: Up to four (4) works in oils, watercolors, acrylics, pastels, graphics, prints and sculptures.
Sculptors MUST supply their own pedestals. No nudes.
HANGING. All entries, except sculptures must be PROPERLY FRAMED, EQUIPPED WITH SCREW EYES
AND WIRED READY FOR
Labeling: A 3 x 5 card, or facsimile, must be attached to the back upper left hand corner of each
entry, containing name, address, phone number, title, media, price or “Not for Sale” ( NFS ).
Donation: If you are successful in selling some of your artwork, it is suggested that it would be appropriate
for you to make a contribution to the Council of Cultural Affairs. A contribution of approximately
10% of your sales would be considered reasonable.
Delivery: All entries must be delivered to the Centennial Hall on Friday, November 17th between
8AM – 11AM.
Removal: Work may be picked up at the close of the show, SUNDAY, November 19th at 4PM, BUT NOT
BEFORE FOR ANY REASON. Artists or agent must present a receipt. For any work left after
4PM on Sunday, the owner will be charged $5.00 per day.
Registration Deadline: This completed and signed application, along with your entry fee, must be received
no later then October 31, in order to be accepted. Space is limited and will be provided on a
first come first serve basis.
THE COUNCIL RESERVES THE RIGHT TO EXCLUDE ANY PIECE OF ART IT FINDS OBJECTIONABLE OR
NOT PROPERLY WIRED AND FRAMED.
